Yellowstone Trip

Ken and Landon had a great father-son trip to Yellowstone the end of July. Here's a few pix. Yes, Landon got too close to the grizzly, and was a crazy boat captain! DeNeise and Kylie also got to go to Yellowstone the week before with Grandma, Grandpa, Jessica and Chante. A good time was had by all!

Our cute nieces Jessia and Chante (Richard and Natasha's girls) visited with grandma and grandpa for a month and we got to spend some fun times with them. Such cute girls - we were sad to see them go. Wish Hawaii were a little closer!

Christmas 2008

We had tons of fun in our home for three days of Christmas gatherings. On Christmas Eve we had a family party for the Young side, including a great meal of ham, Swedish meatballs and much more; and the traditional program with the Sankta Lucia procession (Kylie and Kenzie played duo Lucias and did a great job), the Luke 2 story with the Tabernacle Choir, exchanging gifts and acting out the "Christmas in the Coop" family story. We had Latissa and Scott join us for Christmas morning, and then we celebrated with the Wests on Christmas Day. Another scrumptious dinner, exchanging gifts and playing games made for a great celebration which extended into the next morning with everyone sleeping over because of severe weather. It was definitely a white Christmas! Family is what it's all about!
