Getting Started...

So here we go. Here are the life and times of the Ken and DeNeise Young family - at least some of the highlights. These first pictures were taken over the last year or so. Latissa married Scott, Jorden graduated from high school, Landon started high school and Kylie's in 6th grade. Ken and DeNeise just try to keep up with it all.

A Great Day - Latissa and Scott's Wedding

Married in the Salt Lake Temple on September 14, 2007, Latissa and Scott had a wonderful wedding day. We all enjoyed the ceremonies and celebrations.

Way to go Jorden!

Yea! He made it! We couldn't believe the day had come, but we were so proud of Jorden at his high school graduation.

The Boys Hike Timpanogos

It was on Ken's bucket list to get to the peak of Mt. Timpanogos, and the three of us made it up in August. At the top - Great view! Back down - Sore knees!

Mom was in charge of a talent show this summer at her apartment complex, and recruited the kids to perform. They all did great!

Ken Attends His 30-year Mission Reunion

Has it really been 30 years since I entered the mission field? Wow. The reunion was great, meeting up with people I haven't seen since the mission, reminding me of how wonderful and important the experience was. My experiences in Sweden, the language, culture and all things swedish are deeply ingrained in me. President and Sister Holmgren were loving second parents and great leaders.

Christmas Eve 2007

Here are some pix of the kids in the Swedish Sankta Lucia Procession, which has been one of our family's Christmas traditions for many years. Latissa has been our Lucia since she was little, but it will be time to pass the crown of candles to the other girls.

Ken and DeNeise in Hawaii

We were fortunate to swing a trip to Maui and Oahu for our anniversary last November. We love it there and wish it was easier to go more often! Aloha!
